about

On the advice of management, Chris Andrews changed his name to Tim so as to distinguish him from another British singer-songwriter called Chris Andrews. As Chris morphed into Tim, his music grew from grungy garage band Mod Rock (The Gremlins) to "Freakbeat" (Fleur de Lys) to Pop Psychedelia (Rupert's People) to his solo recordings of orchestral Baroque Pop (with Paul Korda) likened to The Kinks and early Bee Gees, Tim's remarkable voice and versatility is one of the more fascinating stories of 60s British rock history.
